Nova Craft Trapper 12
One of the lightest boats that we stock, at 17.2kg almost any paddler can lift with absolute ease. Weight is often the problem when trying to portage open canoes but this is simply not the case with the Trapper, which can be easily carried and transported by one person.
It’s stable hull makes an easy to paddle solo canoe without sacrificing speed. With good flat-water efficiency, ease of carrying, plenty of weight capacity it opens the opportunity to paddle lakes, walk trails and to disappear camping for a week.
We often sell these boats to people looking for a lightweight, easy to paddle open canoe with the benefits of a stable fishing platform and the option of carrying an additional small person or often a pet. The TuffStuff construction is very strong, lightweight and shiny making a great looking little Solo Open Canoe.
