Swift Canoes Prospector 13
The iconic Prospector Canadian Canoe is now available as a scaled down 13ft model. The Swift Prospector 13 is the smaller version of their hugely popular Prospector 14 and keeps true to the Prospector hull-shape, meaning that if you love paddling a larger Prospector, this one-person, lightweight open boat could be perfect for solo adventures and easy carrying, portaging and car loading.
Weighing in at under 12kg (standard UK Kevlar fusion layup with carbon/kevlar trim), the Prospector 13 is easily manageable both on and off the water. The other stand-out feature is the hull-shape and dimensions of this boat. Unlike other solo canoe models that are designed with intermediate to advanced paddlers in mind. The Prospector 13 has more volume, and is wider for greater stability, meaning it is better suited for less experienced paddlers, or those who have less balance.
As with all Prospectors, this 13ft version is reliable, predictable, and great all-round canoe shape. Perfect for slow moving rivers, lakes, reservoirs, lochs, canals and even sheltered coastal areas. The standard UK Prospector 13 comes with a fixed contoured seat. Along with all Swift Canoes however, it can be ordered as a custom boat with sitting/kneeling options or a multi-height seat pod for the best of both worlds. Also, thanks to its greater carrying capacity, this solo canoe can easily be loaded up with overnight kit, for those that enjoy overnight canoe camping trips.

Made in Canada from black cherry, ash, butternut and basswood the voyageur is an excellent all-around paddle that looks as good as it feels.
