Motiv Combi Trailer

Not everyone has space to carry camping kit for a week away, and also have the room to transport their canoes or kayaks. The unbraked Combi Trailers from Motiv allow for this to happen, and allow for ease of loading and transportation. Available in two variations- the Combi UC has a variable length drawbar, so that the overall length of the trailer can be adjusted to accommodate longer canoes and sea kayaks. The Combi UK has a fixed drawbar, and is suitable for solo sit-on-top kayaks and one-person canoes.

Both trailers feature two removable horizontal rack spaces that have room to fit one canoe or wide SOT kayak on each level, or three narrower kayaks (on their side) on each level. Underneath the racks is a generous load area that can be used to keep paddles, kit, camping bits etc. If the racks are removed, then the trailer becomes an all-round, general purpose box trailer.

The trailers are manufactured in the UK, and are robust, well-engineered and hot-dipped galvanised to help prevent corrosion. As with all Motiv trailers, the UC and UK are supplied with a 1-year mechanical and 5-year chassis warranty. They also feature a drop tailgate, jockey wheel and a bracket mounted spare wheel as standard. Both trailers also include a full road-lighting kit with 13-pin connector. The only things needed to take one away is a removable number plate and a vehicle with towing capabilities.

Other features can be added onto these standard trailers to best suit the customers requirements, and these can include rubber strips on the racks to protect the boats, either a tarpaulin or lockable solid lid on the box, LED lights or a bike racks that fit onto the upper boat rack.
