The Yak Chinook Trousers are very popular, comfortable and durable great for any type of watersports activity. The 2.5 layer fabric is lightweight, breathable, water and windproof and has a ‘performance cut’, allowing good freedom of movement whilst on the bankside, portaging or stand-up-paddle boarding. Reinforced knee and seat panels provide added durability in high wear areas, to help prevent the wear and tear associated with paddle sports.

Inside the Yak Chinook trousers is a twin-waistband that can be be paired with twin-waisted cags and jackets to create a versatile two-piece drywear system that acts like a drysuit, but each item can be worn separately as conditions dictate.

At the ankle, latex gaskets form a dry seal to prevent water creeping up inside the trousers, and allows any thermal layers inside the trousers to stay warm and dry. This style of dry-trousers are often teamed up with neoprene shoes to offer some protection and thermal insulation to the wearers feet.
