Dagger Katana
The Katana is Daggers offering to the cross-over kayak market. Deveoped from the popular dagger Approach (now discontinued) It takes some of the best features from the infamous Mamba white-water kayak and adapts them to give a high performance, stable yet fast all round, general purpose kayak.
This boat enables white water rapids (up to grade 3) and flat water to be effortlessly combined, in one well designed boat. The elongated hull gives a nice top-end cruising speed, while the bow rocker and contoured back deck provides control and manoeuvrability on moving water. The overall balanced profile inspires confidence in beginner kayakers and newcomers to the sport, but is a firm favourite with more experienced paddlers and coaches looking for a comfortable, one boat does it all approach. With enough storage space in the rear hatch for overnight, safety and rescue or expedition kit this kayak is also great for paddlers wanting to take extra equipment and also be able to take it on moving water.
