Wavesport D65 - Club Spec - Citrus Twist
The D-Series club spec provides a fantastic platform for learn the paddling basics and the room to advance your skills. Unlike general purpose boats the forgiving hull design offers superb stability which is inspires confidence right from the start, but this is no compromise in performance. Being the proud owner of a planning hull the D-Series still has some playful characteristics which allow it to surf waves and play in holes more easily than most other creek boats. This boat produces surprising forward speed for its length, allowing easier ferry gliding, whilst still being manoeuvrable enough to catch the smallest of eddies.
The D-Series is perfectly suited for beginner to intermediate kayakers wanting to develop their white water skills at home or abroad. The backrest can be upgraded to a ratchet style system if required and hip pads can also be added. These upgrades allow the paddler much more contact with the boat, hence greater control.
