Enigma Canoes Nimrod 15
The Nimrod 15 is best suited for inland touring on calm waterways, such as canals, lakes, reservoirs and gently moving rivers. With a larger carrying capacity than shorter canoes, it can easily accommodate two paddlers and also enough kit for a canoe camping weekend. Slightly shorter than 16ft canoes, the Enigma Canoes Nimrod 15 also paddles nicely as a solo canoe. Perfect for lone paddlers looking to cover some longer distances and to handle solo.
With a nice wide, stable hull shape the Enigma Nimrod 15 is very stable, perfect for families and those looking for a durable, maintenance free canoe with good primary stability and easy to learn the basics of open canoeing. With minimal rocker, and a long waterline the 15 tracks well in a straight line, and over distance but isn’t quite as manoeuvrable in tighter situations as canoes with a stronger rocker, such as the Enigma Prospector.
The Enigma Canoes 15 is constructed from a triple layer polyethylene material moulded locally to us here at Manchester Canoes and is both durable and robust. The Nimrod 15 comes fitted as standard with two traditional wood-web seats, but can also be fitted with plastic PE seats if required. (contact us for details)
