Feelfree Flash PD

The all-new Flash Pedal Drive from Feelfree Kayaks is a state-of-the-art angling kayak, packed with features in one relatively lightweight package (32 kg). Not only can this kayak be used by kayak anglers, recreational kayakers looking for a stable touring kayak with the option of using the rudder/pedal-drive system will appreciate the comfort and speed of the Flash PD.

The hull shape on the kayak is known as tri-form which allows for efficient paddling, good tracking, and strong stability. The sealed Rapid Drive pedal unit is simple to use and well-proven to be reliable and quiet during use. The beavertail rudder system is controlled from a tiller situated to the left of the seat, so the Flash PD can be steered without the use of a kayak paddle- perfect for fishing or photography.

Other nice features include the built-in wheel in the keel, moulded in side carry handles, flush mounted rod holders and uni-track rails. The ‘Easy Rider’ seating system is a well thought out piece of kit. If you intend to spend many hours onboard the Flash then with it’s huge amount of adjustability and strong lumbar support, then it would be hard to find another kayak seat as comfortable as this one.

The Flash is 10.5 ft long, and moulded on the popular Feel Free Juntos kayak, with addition of all the extras and drive system we would suggest it would be the ideal sized kayak for small to mid-sized paddlers/pedallers. For taller/heavier kayakers the Seastream 120 PD from Feelfree utilises the same Rapid Drive System but has a much greater carrying capacity.

Available in the classic Feelfree Camo colours, it is also available in the unique Midnight-Bolt colourway (limited stock).
