Valley Gemini SP RM
The Valley Gemini SP RM, is based off the original composite laminate, however due to the popularity of the Gemini SP (Sports Play) model Valley are offering it constructed in an extremely durable triple layer roto-moulded polyethylene, made here in the UK.
What sets the Gemini SP aside from other sea kayaks is in its design.
FAt its core the Valley Gemini SP is extremely agile, perfect for increased manoeuvrability be that rock hopping or playing in tide-races and surf zones. With a wide and more volumetric bow combined with an increased rocker the Gemini SP is designed to minimise pearling while surfing but with the added benefit of increased primarily and secondary stability. Underneath the hull features a shallow “v” shape which flattens under the seating position to allow for good straight-line tracking when required and hard flaring chines to allow the ability to “lean onto” the edge and keep upright when playing.
An added benefit of a short (sub 16ft) sea kayak is they are light weight, easier to store, transport and handle off the water, compared to other plastic models. The Gemini SP RM will withstand more knocks than it’s composite brother (or twin the ST).
All in all, this durable short compact sea kayak is ideally suited for UK coastline, surfing into beaches or travelling around headlands and exploring rougher waters while being sprightly enough to get into and out of coves.

The Code paddles have an adjustable feather and length using the sturdy central adujster. Available in two lay-ups with either a red glass fibre blade or full carbon blade (both options come on a straight carbon shaft). The blade has a mid-sized blade surface area meaning it is suitable for the majority of kayakers not demanding a large blade for racing or short sprints.
