The Thule VeloSpace 3 is a versatile, heavy-duty tow bar-mounted bike carrier engineered for riders who demand maximum capacity, flexibility, and ease of use. Designed to transport two or three bikes as standard — and expandable to three or four with an optional adaptor — it is the ideal solution for families, groups, and e-bike owners who need easily expanded bike carrier with consistent reliable performance without compromise.

With the ability to carry heavier bikes thanks to the carrying capacity of 60kg, the VeloSpace 3 is perfectly suited to e-bikes, mountain bikes, gravel bikes, and children’s bikes alike. Extra-wide wheel trays accommodate large tyres and extended wheelbases, while easily tightened ratcheting wheel straps ensure a secure fit. Adjustable, detachable frame holders with torque-limiting knobs provide firm yet frame-safe clamping, making it suitable for delicate carbon frames (with the recommended protector). Generous spacing between bikes reduces contact and reduces the chance of damage during transport — even on longer journeys or uneven roads.

The VeloSpace 3 mounts quickly and securely to the towbar using a tool-free coupling system with integrated stability control. Once installed, a convenient foot-pedal tilt mechanism allows easy access to the boot, even when bikes are fully loaded. When not in use, the rack folds flat for compact storage and easy handling. Featuring an integrated number plate holder and rear lights, electrics supplied via a 13-pin electrical connection and built-in locking system to secure the bikes to the carrier and also the carrier to the vehicle, providing added peace of mind when parked. This lockable system is OneKey compatible for ease of use across multiple Thule products.

For those who require even greater capacity, the VeloSpace 3 can be expanded with an additional bike adaptor, increasing its carrying capability to three or four bikes. Optional accessories such as a dedicated storage bag and loading ramp (ideal for heavier e-bikes) further enhance convenience and usability.
