Whether canoeing, kayaking, rafting or paddleboarding, every paddler will require a paddle (and maybe even a spare!). We supply paddles to suit every canoe/kayak/board and paddling style. Generally speaking, the higher priced paddles are constructed from higher quality materials to give greater performance and durability and an also significant weight reduction. Most of the longer sea kayaking, SOT and touring kayak paddles are longer and available as 1 or 2-piece shafts. Canoe paddles are single bladed and have a t-grip on the other end. The white-water paddles are normally shorter, for use on shallow rivers and rapids, and enable a faster stroke rate.
Paddle size is decided by the height of the paddler, their personal preference, the type, and length of kayak/board/canoe they are using, the style of paddling and water type they are paddling on.
