Old Town Discovery 119
Compact and fun to paddle, the Discovery 119 has been a popular choice for canoeists wanting to paddle solo, without having to transport and handle a 15 foot plus boat. Like all the canoes in the Discovery Series, the 119 is constructed from a very durable triple layer plastic that has been fitted out to a very high quality. Agile, stable and easy to handle, this diminutive canoe paddles well even for first time paddlers due to its shallow arched hull shape.
As the 119 weighs less than most white water kayaks, it is one of the few triple layer open canoes that can easily be lifted onto a car roof-rack by one person; an almost essential quality if going out for a days paddling by yourself. Suitable for use on gently moving rivers, canals, sheltered lakes and reservoirs.
