Thule hull-a-port aero 848
The new Thule Hull-a-Port Aero 849 Kayak Carrier is a re-design of the classic 837, featuring a new lockable system to ensure even more security for your cargo. Sold as a pair these kayak carriers are easy to install and a offer a simple to use system. Designed to cradle the kayaks hull and preserve hull integrity. The aero dynamic profile and neat folding system quickly rises and also folds when not in use, via the easily reachable front handle. The Hull-a-Port Aero comes with a durable, soft rubber padding to help protect your kayak from excessive pressures during transit, in addition to giving better traction for added security.
The integrated Strap Catch is fantastic for load management support, keeping the straps centrally located while you load your kayak and giving a sturdy base to pull from, when securing your load.
The new lockable, anti-theft resistant design keeps the Hull-a-Port Aero firmly attached to your roof bars at all times (the locks come included). Designed to be fitted into roofbars using the Thule T-Track system, once unlocked they can simply be slid off the bars if not required. For fitting onto Thule Square bars, an adaptor kit 8897 will be required (available separately).
With the Aero’s folded into the down position, they have the added benefit of reducing the overall vehicle height (useful when entering car parks or garages) and also improving the vehicles aerodynamics and wind resistance.
