The Thule Portage 819 Canoe Carrier is designed for use with open canoes. It comes complete with 4 padded load stops and 1 pair of Thule straps. The soft surface of the support pads protects the canoe's gunwale, and the straps have a soft buckle protector to protect the canoe from buckle scratches.
