Yak Apollo Cag
The Yak Apollo jacket is a high performing sea kayaking and touring cag, with plenty of useful features. Designed by paddlers for long days out on the water, or if the weather takes a turn. The 'seamless technology' applied under the arms reduces any rubbing or chaffing while maintaining the maximum freedom of movement.
This cagoule offers protection from the elements- wind and rain, constructed with Yaks DK10K 2.5 layer material. Meaning the jacket is highly breathable, durable and water repellent, featuring fully taped seams throughout. A twin seal at either wrist, with latex gasket and velcro outer helps keep the fit suitable for everyone, working alongside the high storm collar and adjustable PU neck seal helping to keep the water out in the event of a capsize.
For lowlight conditions and poor visibility, the foldaway storm hood is constructed of high-visibility materials to offer protection for the paddler from wind and rain, and piping along the cag is made of similar reflective fabrics. There are two handy pockets on the front and sleeve of the cag and the twin waist seal features an elasticised lightweight inner layer to be used in combination with a spray-skirt, and an outer layer with velcro adjustable tabs.
