The Bixpy Universal Kayak Adaptor is designed to work with both the K-1 and J-2 motors and should fit to almost every kayak available. Designed to offer a solution to add a Bixpy to kayaks which don't presently have a dedicated adaptor. A comprehensive set of parts is included in the kit to allow you to fit the mount onto your craft. The adaptor adjusts both vertically and horizontally to enable it to work with a wide variety of craft.

In order to maximise control and change the direction of travel, you should consider and install a steering mechanism - we recommend the pole steering adaptor for this mount (sold separately).

Please Note: This adaptor is designed to best fit onto kayaks and other small watercraft, for use with Canadian canoes please consider a transom mounting solution and a motor mount as a better fit. Kayaks offer great variety in both design and shape. As such, there are no hard and fast rules for exactly how this adaptor will fit, some level of decision will need to be made by the installer as to how the adaptor best fits onto their craft. Only undertake this task if you feel confident with some DIY and there are no other adaptors available for your kayak model.
