Utilising Sweets tried and tested TLC shell technology (Thermoplastic Laminated Carbon Fibre), the durable outer shell effectively combines the elasticity of injection-moulded thermoplastic with the rigidity and strength of carbon fibre. This allows Sweet to effectively 'tune' the shell for different properties in different areas. The shell is softer in the crown area, which due to the rigid spherical geometry is better for impacts, and stiffer along the sides where the larger radius benefits from the rigid carbon fibre.

The interior of the helmet is made up of two parts, the moulded, expanded polypropylene liner provides great impact protection against multiple knocks. The Cool-max liner wicks away moisture on hot days, is anti-allergenic, and removable if it needs rinsing or washing.
