The latest redesign on the classic Gumotex Ruby is 17cm wider than the original by the same name, while maintaining the same elegance in the water and handling performance. Its wider standing makes it even more stable than the original. As inflatable’s go it is big suitable for carrying up to 3 adults, but when dry and packed away will compress into a 135l dry bag, supplied, (65 x 51 x30cm) and weigh just 29kg.  This makes storage and transportation incredibly easy. Inflation of the Ruby XL is via 2 separate side chambers and the pressure release valve in the bottom of the boat means that is impossible to overinflate the floor.

This great “little” craft is incredibly versatile and can be paddled; as a dingy with oars securing into the fitted rowlocks which come as standard, as a canoe with paddles or a small power boat with a motor (any motor affixed must have a short shaft and a maximum weight of 28kg). The redesigned transom has been stiffened and is now removable, making it easier to pack away when not in use.

Three raised padded bench style seats provide unparalleled comfort from either a kneeling or seated position. The removable nature of the seats allows for adjustments to the trim or extra space when carrying a larger load.
It’s suitable for use on lakes or offshore travelling, and will perform like a small raft on white-water up to grade 2 on rivers. A great all round boat.
