Single Seat Inflatable Kayak with Dropstitch Technology

For those paddlers wanting the best quality and technology in their inflatable kayak, the all new Rush from the leading brand Gumotex has raised the bar and has the awards to back up its credentials. Using in house drop-stitch technology, this boat has an incredibly rigid hull (lacking in cheaper inflatables) which provides less flex, translating to higher performance and a more pleasurable paddling experience. The Rush comes supplied as an open cockpit similar to a sit-on-top kayak but can easily be upgraded with the purchase of a cockpit cover for a drier ride.

As with all Gumotex kayaks, the Rush 1 is constructed from extremely durable Nitrilon material which is quick drying, hard wearing and allows the 3 tubes to be inflated to high pressures (7.2 PSI) providing a stable and strong watercraft. The Rush has been cleverly designed to provide a hydro-dynamically shaped hull, with an upswept bow to cut though waves, and a keel-line to aid with tracking and edging capabilities.

Designed for touring, whether it be inland or sheltered coastal use the Rush can also be used for easy grade white water rapids (up to Grade 2). There is also the option of adding a rudder for directional stability on windy days or increased manoeuvrability in tight locations. The RUSH 1 is easily inflated or rolled away (approx 5 minutes) into its 80ltr waterproof storage bag, allowing it to be easily transported or stored away when not in use. And at only 12kg, the kayak is easy to carry down to the waters edge or portage around locks should the need arise.

Other nice features which come included on the standard Rush are a removable tracking fin, inflatable seat with push-push valve , decklines and adjustable footrest to provide a stable paddling position.
