The Nova Craft Trapper 12 is one of the lightest boats that we stock (and the lightest in the Nova Craft range), at a little over 18kg almost any paddler can lift with absolute ease. Weight is often the problem when trying to portage open canoes but this is simply not the case with the Trapper 12, which can be easily carried and transported by one person.

The Trapper 12 has a remarkably stable hull making it easy to paddle solo canoe without sacrificing speed. With good flat-water efficiency, ease of carrying, plenty of weight capacity it opens the opportunity to explore further; with the ability to portage easily, paddle lakes, walk trails and to disappear camping for a week into the back country.
