Offset Canoe paddle for touring
Werner Churchill, touring canoe paddle with fibreglass blade. With a slightly elongated shape to a traditional general purpose paddle the Churchill reduces the pressure tolls on the body for longer journeys; the slimmer profile in the water offers consistent power, while the balanced paddle face can be used comfortably all day regardless of if you are looking for a steady stable leisurely pace or to increase the cadence for those chasing speed the Churchill is an excellent paddle for this.
With a 10 degree shaft to blade offset, the Werner Churchill is designed to keep the blade more vertical throughout the paddle stroke, benefiting with an increase in forward power but still allowing for smooth turning and control strokes. This is also popular for those who like to paddle "sit and switch" or pack boats. The Churchill also features a pronounced dihedral ridge down the middle of the power face, allowing for an easier draw through the water. With an adjustable length from 50"-58" this canoe paddle will suit most paddlers.
Constructed of premium materials, the Churchill is a beautiful blend of translucent fibreglass blade with a carbon blend shaft. The blade is robust and abrasion resilient. While the top of the paddle features an offset palm grip for increased comfort, enabling the fingers to be relaxed into the handle, this handle is constructed from a high impact resistant ABS plastic.
