A modern, lightweight and adaptable tandem sea/touring kayak, the Delta Kayaks Traverse 17.5T is perfect for paddlers of all abilities. Its capabilities are incredibly diverse, allowing it to be used for inland touring, and take on coastal paddles for both day trips and also long-range exploration. The hull has three sealed bulkheads, including a handy middle day-pod, providing plenty of room for food, fresh water and camping kit. Outfitted for safety, comfort and performance, the Traverse features Delta’s Contour seat system, Press Lock Hatches, self-retracting handles, substantial deck rigging, and two pairs of footrests for each paddler. The Traverse is also easy to manoeuvre and steer thanks to the Delta 'no-fuss' drop-down rudder system.

ADVANCED THERMOFORM CONSTRUCTION
Our skilled workers carefully craft every Delta kayak using a proprietary blend of thermoplastic materials. An ABS base layer (1) provides superior impact-resistance and rigidity, while the Solarkote exterior surface (2) contributes outstanding abrasion and UV resistance for a smooth, bright finish and vibrant, lasting colours. Our kayaks have higher impact strength than composite fibreglass boats and hold their shape better than polyethylene kayaks. The first thing you’re likely to notice, however, is their weight. Thanks to our advanced thermoform construction, Delta kayaks are not just tough and good-looking — they’re also among the lightest on the market.
