Norse idun
The Idun is just shy of 16ft and in the fibreglass lay-up weighs in at 23 kg, allowing it to be carried solo and handle extremely well on the water. With a nice combination of length, and a moderate rocker the Idun is a very versatile boat; allowing the user to day trip, yet also have the carrying capacity to carry a week's worth of kit for extended journeys when required.
Paddlers who enjoy rougher water will no doubt appreciate the balanced hull shape, with a V-profile and reinforced chines. These allow the paddler to edge the boat through tighter turns, track well and offer a strong primary stability. The hard chines also assist the boat to perform well when running downwind with a following sea.
Larger paddlers could consider the Norse Kayaks Bylgja for a similar shaped boat, with larger volume for bigger sea kayakers.

The Code paddles have an adjustable feather and length using the sturdy central adujster. Available in two lay-ups with either a red glass fibre blade or full carbon blade (both options come on a straight carbon shaft). The blade has a mid-sized blade surface area meaning it is suitable for the majority of kayakers not demanding a large blade for racing or short sprints.
