Norse thor
Many sea kayakers prefer to share their adventures with another person, and the Norse Kayaks Thor tandem sea kayak ticks just this box. Designed by Norwegian company Norse, and constructed using vacuum bagged honeycomb fiberglass to provide an extremely stiff well-made boat. Slightly wider than other tandem boats, the Thor offers a reassuring ride thanks to it’s strong initial stability.
With a high carrying capacity (270kg) combined with cavernous watertight storage areas, the Norse Thor has plenty of scope for multiday trips with plenty of room for camping kit, water and provisions. As with most tandem sea kayaks, the Thor has a rudder fitted as standard to aid turning, and help maintain a bearing during windy conditions or tidal flows. With plenty of on-deck storage options, and a well designed, comfortable outfitting system the Norse kayaks Thor is certainly a kayak for planning big adventures with.

The Code paddles have an adjustable feather and length using the sturdy central adujster. Available in two lay-ups with either a red glass fibre blade or full carbon blade (both options come on a straight carbon shaft). The blade has a mid-sized blade surface area meaning it is suitable for the majority of kayakers not demanding a large blade for racing or short sprints.
