Perception Prodigy II
The Prodigy II 14.5 from leading manufacturers Perception Kayaks is inspired by the legendary Kiwi 3, but with a rocker profile focused on speed, tracking and minimal noise when paddling on flat water and slow-moving rivers and estuaries. Ergonomically the updated outfitting is amongst the most comfortable on the market, featuring adjustable pedal footrests and a watertight rear hatch compartment.
The two seats included are taken from Perception's Zone DLX Seating System and can be adjusted forward and backwards along the boat to help with trimming, paddlers of different heights or moved into a central position for solo paddling. The seats themselves are extremely comfortable to sit in for extended periods and have multiple adjustments. Including a height adjustable backrest, that can also be easily reclined to the desired position and featuring leg lifters on the front edge of the seat to support the paddler's legs.
The Prodigy 2 is also available with a factory fitted rudder system, or a rudder can be retrofitted at a later date if desired. The other nice feature is that the boat has a rear skid plate fitted to the hull as standard to reduce wear and tear. A great idea for high use environments such as hire centres or Scouting organisations.
