Wavesport Fuse
When Wave Sport announced the re-release of the short river-play Fuse kayak, paddlers could again have a boat capable of modern freestyle moves, but also fast enough to river-run in and truly play the river.
The Fuse is available in three sizes for different sized paddlers and thoughtfull whiteout outfitting, including fully adjustable thigh braces should provide a nice snug fit for the paddler. In the right hands this boat will cartwheel all day long and its wide, stable flat hull makes it a great surf boat. With its wide stature the Fuse is also loved by novice white water enthusiasts, due to it being relatively stable and more forgiving than out-and-out freestyle kayaks.
The front of the Fuse is packed with volume as you would expect in a traditional playboat, giving plenty of resurface speed and foot room It's flat planning hull gives it a playful nature particularly when carving on surf waves, and the extra length gives it a faster turn of speed and stability when on end. The additional volume makes accidental stern squirts less frequent, and again means the Fuse is appreciated by paddlers looking for a forgiving playboat.
