Short, Manouverable Plastic Sea Kayak
Tho rotomoulded version of the P&H Virgo is a compact sea kayak for short journeys and ocean play. With defined, crisp rails and shorter waterline provides the Virgo with great manoeuvrability for rock-hopping, surfing or playing in races. The V-shaped hull cuts nicely through the water and swell, but softens towards the centre of the boat to provide stability, especially when surfing.
The flared edges to the bow help to prevent bow slap, and provide a drier ride through choppy water. The Virgo also utilises the Connect outfitting system, that is fully adjustable and can provide great connectivity between the paddler and the kayak.
The P&H Virgo is available in a choice of two rotomoulded plastic constructions: MZ3 is good value with good impact resistance and durability (but slightly heavier). Whereas CoreLite X increases the hull's stiffness and reduces weight, to give greater level of responsiveness from the boat.
Please note -
The LV/MV Virgo Corelite X models feature 3x hatches. (pictured above as the Red main image) The HV Virgo Corelite X model has a fourth/day hatch situated behind the cockpit.
All Sizes of Virgo in the MZ3 plastic only have 2x hatches. (pictured above as the Blue second image)
