With three bench seats fitted as standard, and a 363kg carrying capacity the Pelican can easily accommodate a small family looking to get out on the water together or two paddlers tandem with enough kit and provisions for a weeks canoe camping in the Highlands or perhaps down the River Wye.

Constructed from the incredibly strong Ram-X material, the 15.5 is lighter than many 15 and half foot canoes, and also offers great value for money. Imported directly into Manchester Canoes from the East coast of Canada, (the home of canoeing) the Pelican 15.5 is well suited for sheltered in-land touring, exploring Scottish lochs, gently moving rivers and also canal network stretching across the UK.

With a wide, flat hull profile, the Pelican 15.5 is very stable, and with a full hull-length keel line, this canoe tracks really well in a straight line- a features much sought out by those new to the sport. With additional foam buoyancy hidden inside the seat pillars, the 15.5 is virtually unsinkable and makes paddling it when swamped achievable by most. Other features include 3x rod holders, a drinks holder and two built-in carry handles within the end-plates.
