Access to the roof-box is simple, and can be loaded/unloaded from either side, thanks to the dual opening sides. The box is secured by Thule's SlideLock system, that automatically locks the lid, and indicates that it is properly closed. Mounting a Force 3 onto an existing set of Thule roof-bars is simple and secure, using the PowerClick quick mount system, that has a clever built-in torque indicator so you know when it is tightened fully.

On larger vehicles, the Force 3 L can be positioned forward to minimise contact between the boot opening and the roof box itself, perfect for those who need to access the boot to essential on the go items.
