The Delta Kayaks 14 has been well-designed for paddling in a variety of conditions, making it an excellent choice for both multi-day excursions and day outings. With a mid-length waterline and a moderately V-shaped hull, it strikes a nice balance between speed and stability, boosting the confidence of paddlers at any skill level. The Delta 14 can cope with small to moderate swell, so makes a nice size kayak for both inland touring, and also along sheltered coastlines.
As with all Delta Kayaks lightweight thermoformed models, it is easy to manoeuvre both on and off the water, making it a dream to paddle and also easy enough to load onto a car roof rack after a long day out on the water. The Delta 14 is equipped with a host of features, including the unique multi-position Contour II Seat System, drop-down skeg, and ample storage accessible through three simple to use Press-Lock hatches.

ADVANCED THERMOFORM CONSTRUCTION
Our skilled workers carefully craft every Delta kayak using a proprietary blend of thermoplastic materials. An ABS base layer (1) provides superior impact-resistance and rigidity, while the Solarkote exterior surface (2) contributes outstanding abrasion and UV resistance for a smooth, bright finish and vibrant, lasting colours. Our kayaks have higher impact strength than composite fibreglass boats and hold their shape better than polyethylene kayaks. The first thing you’re likely to notice, however, is their weight. Thanks to our advanced thermoform construction, Delta kayaks are not just tough and good-looking — they’re also among the lightest on the market.
