Perception Expression 11
After the immediate success of the Expression 14 and 15's, Perception Kayaks launched the Expression 11. Like its bigger sisters the 14 and 15, this is a latest generation day touring kayak but scaled down to fit into the shorter range of touring kayaks. The hull shape is a nice balance of stability, versus performance and although aimed at newcomers to kayak touring, it is more than capable of being paddled well by those with more experience.
More nimble and manoeuvrable than its longer brethren, the Perception Expression 11 is perfectly suited for a days paddle on the local canal, lake or estuary. With the carrying capacity in the rear hatch, it is also possible to take overnight camping kit for multi-day paddling trips or packed lunch/warm clothes for longer days out. The Expression 11 kayak is well suited to inland touring and exploring, and also for use on sheltered coastal areas. With a maximum recommended capacity of 114kg, the Expression 11 is favoured by our customers who would consider themselves to be smaller to mid-sized paddlers.
High-end outfitting includes, Zone DLX seating system, rear bulkhead, Trutrak skeg system, fully adjustable foot-rests and thigh braces. The Perception 11's DLX Backrest system is 'High-backed' and raises or lowers to supply lower lumber support. This system is compatible with most touring spraydecks. And allows for maximum back-support, ideal for those longer days on the water.
