A longer touring kayak, like the Edge 15, will track (travel in a straight line) better, needing less course corrections while also having more space for equipment and accessories.

The arched hull and keel along the Riot Edge 15 give stability to paddlers, both on the flat and in rougher water. Being shorter than the sea kayaks designed for open water, the Edge 15 is more manoeuvrable both on and off the water.

The myriad of features, including two bulkheads for inherent buoyancy and safety, and a drop-down sprung skeg are often found on touring kayaks at much higher price points. The Riot Kayaks Edge 15 is comfortable and controllable, with enough storage for longer days on the water or short hops up and down your local river stretch.

The adjustable backrest, sliding foot pegs and the thigh braces allow paddlers to get maximum contact and control out of their kayak while staying very comfy in the Edge 15 for long periods.
