Riot Edge 15 With Skeg
From established manufacturers Riot; the Edge 15 is the longer version of the very popular Edge 11 model. Designed to be faster, more efficient over distance and better at tracking, especially on windy days. The arched shaped hull and defined keel-line provides the paddler with good secondary stability and predictable paddling.
The 15ft length means that is more manoeuvrable and easier to handle than a 16/17ft sea kayak, although has a lower cruising speed and not quite the same carrying capacity. However, with both forward and stern watertight hatches and deck cargo net, the Edge 15 has plenty of room for overnight camping kit, for those paddlers wishing to spend more than a day on the water.
With plenty of features that are expected on a quality kayak such as this include; a spring-loaded drop down skeg, adjustable pedal footrests, thigh braces and comfortable padded seat with a tall backrest for additional comfort.
We would recommend the Edge 15 for beginner to intermediate kayakers who want to reach their destination quickly and efficiently, or cover more miles than those paddling shorter kayaks.
