The Wavesport Hydra 145/145LV is a Versatile and confidence inspiring Touring kayak for Intermediate and experienced kayakers alike.  Constructed of Wave Sport's proprietary Trifuse triple-layer material, which fuses Super Linear PE with a foam PE core, this results in a stiffer, lighter and more responsive hull that maintains its shape. The hull shape itself is that of the Classic Wave Sport Hydra 145, a performance focused touring kayak, featuring a flattened centre and sharp edges offering stability and responsiveness, combined with a rocker profile for manoeuvrability in surf and waves, but still just as capable on calm and flat waters.

Using the legendary Core WhiteOut outfitting found from the White Water range and touring kayaks, the Hydra 145 / 145LV Trifuse includes a comfortable, adjustable seat with an easy-to-use ratchet leg lifter, a comfortable padded backband, and adjustable thigh braces and hip pads all come together to create a secure and connected feel. The hip pads are also designed to flip over and offer extra comfort if carrying the boat on your shoulder. A good-sized hatch can be found at either end of the kayak offering excellent storage for on the water, both are sealed with a bulkhead ensuring they remain dry. While a small day hatch is just in front of the cockpit ensuring that the Hydra Trifuse can be well trimmed even when loaded and those on the water requirements are with easy reach. A retractable skeg also comes as standard to improve tracking on open water, and can be retracted for increased manoeuvrability in rougher conditions.
