Islander Koa
The Koa from UK based manufactures Islander, is their popular lightweight sit-on-top kayak model. Available in two specifications Beach and Sport to suit different budgets. The Koa is designed to be easy to paddle from total beginner right through to seasoned professionals. Suitable for lighter paddlers including juniors, the Koa Sport and Koa beach are both suitable for exploring sheltered coastal areas and inland waterways.
The Koa has been well thought out and designed to provide the paddler with a dry-ride, thanks to it's upswept bow that jumps over small waves and surf. Packed with features such as 4x carrying handles, scupper holes and the Sport version has a watertight hatch and comes supplied with a seat. Both specifications come with an integral moulded in footrest system, that's thoughtfully been designed to offer both the paddlers heel and toes support to push against.
