Wavesport Fuse 35 Junior Kayak
For young kayakers getting into the sport, larger (incorrectly sized) boats means they can struggle to paddle, leading to a frustrating time on the water and also a slower progression, taking much longer to learn new strokes. The Fuse 35 is an exact replica of the proven adult sized Fuse designs, just scaled down for paddlers less than 50kg's in weight.
Designed primarily as a moving water boat, the Fuse 35 has a high level of outfitting to allowing child to paddle efficiently and make good use of the boat whist edging and carving.

On the water, the Fuse has a relatively short waterline length, allowing for greater manoeuvrability and ease of turning. The flat planeing hull gives a good primary stability and allows the boat to surf and spin on waves. Low volume edges and sharp rails allow the Fuse to carve through turns and promotes good practice when developing moving water skills.
As there is less plastic than adult kayaks, the Fuse 35 is classed as a lightweight kayak, allowing youngsters to carry their own boat to and from the water. Its diminutive size also means that the Fuse 35 can be transported inside most cars with a little seat re-arranging!
