Titan Yantra
Not all kayakers aspire to run Grade 5, win races or push the limits of what’s possible in white-water kayaking. The Yantra is unlikely to be found on the top of a podium, or seen on extreme white-water films, and instead has been well thought out for kayakers starting out on moving water, right through to intermediate paddlers happy paddling grade 3-4. Looking for a boat that’s not only forgiving, but is easy to roll and have enough rocker to still boof easily, and carve river waves when having fun when surfing.
As with all Titan Kayaks, the Yantra has all the safety features you would expect from a modern white-water kayak. Including, metal attachment points, full bulkhead footrest system and a comfortable seating system that can be adjusted to provide the paddler with a nice snug fit allowing better boat control and a faster learning curve. The Yantra kayak has been described as well balanced and tracking well- both features sought out by kayakers learning the basics. The smaller Yantra (7’9”) is also perfectly sized for smaller/junior paddlers (down to 40kg in weight).
